I had to become a Democrat because they were more apt to tell the truth about what they wanted to do. I think our 2 party system needs to get back to working as one team that listen to each other politely and not just sling mud or avoid answering questions by changing the subject to a podcast answer that we have heard recited a hundred times. Some can't even be serious while talking to the oversight committee. Anyway you are right about getting back to treating others how we would like to be treated instead of trying to get revenge.
